Wolfe, Wanda Mae : Wanda Mae Wolfe, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Wolfe of South Zanesville, died at birth in Good Samaritan Hospital, early Monday morning. Surviving in addition to the parents are one brother, Rodney; a sister, Carolyn, both of the home; the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wolfe of South Zanesville and the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Harmon of Pineville, WV. Burial was made in the Rose Hill Cemetery Monday evening in charge of the Cannon and Cannon Funeral Home of Roseville. Times Recorder, 08 May 1945 pg. 7

Wonski, Adam: Adam J. Wonski, 59. Stenger Rd Bethesda, died Friday evening, June 18, 1982 at Ohio Valley Medical Center, He was born April 12, 1923 in Detroit Michigan, a son of the late John and Severyna Bonskovich Wonski. An employee of Marietta Coal Co., St. Clairsville, he was a Catholic by faith and a member of the Polish National Alliance, Lafferty. Surviving are his wife, Inez Kemp Butler Wonski; one step-son Thomas Butler of Pickerington; one brother Edmund Wonski of St. Clairsville; one half-brother, Henry Czerwin of Bloomingdale; and two grandchildren. Services were held Monday at the Kelly-Kemp Funeral Home, Bethesda, with the Rev. Father John Reardon officiating. Burial followed in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville. Wood, Charles : Charles Wood, 59, died at the home of his sister, Mrs. William Lyons near Hiramsburg, at 10:30 p.m., Sunday, following an illness. He had spent the past two months at the Lyons home, coming here from the west where he had resided for several years. He was a son of Philetus and Mary Wheeler Wood and was born in the Ava community where he spent his earlier life. Survivors are two children in California a brother, Mason Wood, of Ava, and three sisters, Mrs. Lyons of Hiramsburg at whose home he died, Mrs. Hazel Fowler of Cambridge and Mrs. Myrtle Morris near Sharon. The body will be removed from the McVay Funeral Home in Caldwell, Monday evening to the Mason Wood home, at Ava, where last rites will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. conducted by Rev. Byron VanSyoc, followed by interment in Hally's Ridge Cemetery. Times Recorder, 17 Nov 1942

Woodburn, Samuel W. : Samuel Wesley Woodburn, 84, passed away Saturday at 6:30 a.m. at his home, one mile south of Antrim after two weeks illness of complications. The last of a family of four children the deceased was born on Feb 9 1858, in Oxford township, a son of William and Nancy Morgan Woodburn. His wife, Mrs. Tracy Ann Stillion Woodburn to whom he was married on March 4 1886 died in 1931. Seven children, Mrs. Bertha Ables, Elyria, Mrs. Maude Lowe, Oberlin, Orville, Sullivan, Clarence, Mrs.. Ora Lyons and Mrs. Mildred Douglas all of Antrim and Howard of the home, 19 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren survive. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. at the home and burial will be made in Antrim Cemetery. The body will be returned to the home Saturday evening from the McMillen Funeral Home. Worthley, William : Funeral services for William Worthley, 75, of Clyde Court, who died Wednesday evening at his home following a year's illness, will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Raymond Seat Funeral Home. Rev. L. S. Snell will officiate and burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home to remain for the services. Times Recorder, 16 Jun 1944

Woten, Earl Thomas : Earl Thomas Woten, 64, of 28th St., was found dead at his home Monday morning. A native of Clay Township and a salesman for 30 years with Midland Grocery Co., he was a member , head usher and deacon of First Christian Church and a member of the Church's Mixed Adult Sunday School Class and Christian Men's Fellowship and a member of United Commercial Travelers. Preceded in death by his wife, Judy Pyles Woten, in 1976, he is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Henson of Columbus; a brother, Ray of the Biggs House, and two grandchildren. Services are planned 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with Rev. Richard Wilburn officiating, and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at Brock Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. The family's favorite charity is the church's building fund.

Wszeborowski, James L.: James L. Wszeborowski, 70, Mingo Junction, died Thursday in Ohio Valley Hospital, Steubenville. He was a retired motor inspector of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp., Mingo Junction Plant a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Mingo Junction and a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ignatius and Michelena Hojnaxki Wszeborowski; four brothers; two sisters. Surviving are a son, Timothy of Mingo Junction two daughters, Mrs. Albert (Rita) Habash of Toronto and Mrs. David (Nancy) Vednarek of Mingo Junction; three brothers, Albert and Thomas Wszeborowski, both of Mingo Junction, and Stephen Forrest of Novelty; a sister, Anna Verhovec of Yorkville; a grandchild. Friends will be received 7to 9 p.m. Sunday at Blaschalk Funeral Home, Mingo Junction. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Agnes Catholic Church. Burial follows in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Steubenville. Vigil service will be Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral. Times Leader, 30 Apr 1993

Wurster, Fred J.: Fred J. Wurster, 87, resident of 413 North Lincoln Avenue, Barnesville, passes away at Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville, Tuesday evening, August 11th at 6:15. He was born in Zanesville on January 15, 1883, a son of the late William Frederick and Mary Christine Duemmel Wurster. Mr. Wurster was a retired railway station agent. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Barnesville; Aladdin Shrine Temple, Columbus; Amity Lodge No. 5, F & AM, Zanesville, Zanesville Chapter No. 9, R & AM; Zanesville Council, R & SM No. 12; Scottish Rite, Valley of Cambridge; Knight Templar No. 10, Zanesville; and Eastern Star Concordia, Chapter 493, New Concord, Ohio. Surviving are his wife, Lelia Wurster of the home; two children, Mrs. J. Kennon Williams of Barnesville and W. G. Wurster of Cuyahoga Falls; three grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Eleanor Duncan of St. Louis, Missouri. The body was taken to the Campbell-Plumly Funeral Home on North Chestnut Street, where friends will be received after 1 p.m., today and from 9 a.m. until 11:30 Friday morning. Masonic services will be held at 8 o'clock this evening. Last rites will be held at the funeral home Friday afternoon, August 14th at 3 o'clock, conducted by the Reverend Richard Eshler.
