Dearth, Mrs. Cora Musetta : Mrs. Cora Musetta Dearth, 66, wife of Thomas E. Dearth, died at her home in Morgan County near Beverly, on Tuesday of last week, following a short illness. She suffered a stroke a few day previous and never rallied. Mrs. Death was the daughter of the lat Eli and Isabel King McMannis. She was born near Keith, Noble County on March 24, 1874. On December 20, 1905, she was married to Thomas E. Dearth and he survives with two daughters, Mrs. Cora Porvince of Waterford, and Miss Bernice Dearth of the home. There are six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Brothers of Mrs. Dearth are Elvin McMannis of Beverly, Albert McMannis of Coal Run and Daniel McMannis of Tekoah, Wash. Mrs. Dearth was a member of the Mill Grove Grange in Morgan County and attended Smith Chapel. Funeral services were held at Smith Chapel near Beverly on Thursday afternoon, with Rev. Frank Donaldson of Beverly, officiating. Interment was made in the cemetery near by. Noble County Leader, 05 Dec 1940

DeLong, James Oscar : James Oscar DeLong, 64, died Wednesday evening at the Noble infirmary following a long illness. Mr. DeLong was a native of Noble County and was formerly a farmer. Surviving are his daughter, Mrs. Mamie Hays, Jerusalem; a son, Samuel DeLong, Cambridge; three brothers, six sisters and six grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the home of his sister, Mrs. Rosa Clucus, Batesville, with Rev. Wesley Ward officiating. Burial was made in the Batesville Cemetery. Denney, Mrs. Eleanor : Funeral services for Mrs. Eleanor Denney, 92, who died Monday morning at her home on North St., following a short illness, were held Wednesday afternoon at the late residence in charge of Rev. C. C. Davis of the First Methodist Church. Interment was made in the Southern Cemetery. With the passing of Mrs. Denney, death claimed the city's two oldest residents in two days. W. W. Denny, Robert Owen : Robert Owen Denny, 83, of New Lexington, Perry County, died Wednesday Oct 8, 2003 at his home in Clayton Twp. He was born Nov. 25, 1919 in Rehoboth, Clayton Twp. Perry County, to the late Robert Richard and Nellie Grace Kokensparger Denny. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of New Lexington and attended Somerset High School, graduating from New Lexington High School. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran of WW II and a member of VFW Post 10918 of Somerset and American Legion Leo Ryan Post 58 of Somerset. Over may decades, he worked the oil fields of Perry and Noble Counties, was glazer at the Crooksville China, a route salesman through Clayton and Harrison Twps. for Lambs Dry Cleaners and retired after 20 years as a n electronics technician at the Newark Air Force Station Aerospace Guidance repair facility. Surviving are his wife, Evelyn Mae Young Denny; four sons, Ronald Dean (Carrie) Denny of New Lexington, Donald Eugene (Nancy) Denny of Columbus, Norman Louis Denny of Thornville and Mark Randall (Silver) Denny of Columbus; a daughter Roberta Sue McGee of Lake Worth FL; a sister Grace Eileen Kokensparger of Lancaster; a brother, Richard Louis (Gloria) Denny of Hebron; a sister-in-law, Betty Jean Young Gordon of Caldwell; a brother-in-law Bobby Dean (Shirley) Young of Zanesville; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will welcome friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Roberts Funeral Home, New Lexington OH. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. DeVolld, J. Frank : J. Frank DeVolld, 72, died Monday morning at 3 o'clock at his home, five miles east of Cambridge on the national highway. He suffered a heart attack and died almost instantly. Mr. DeVolld was the eldest son of David and Lavina Arndt DeVolld and was born March 11, 1869, on a farm three miles east of Caldwell. For many years he was engaged in the livestock and butchering business in this community. In 1910 he moved to his farm, east of Cambridge, where he had since resided. He was united in marriage to Alice Cleary, Nov 15, 1893, who survives in addition to nice children, 25 grandchildren and the following brothers and sister; Charles L. and Sherman H. DeVolld, Cleveland, Mrs. John W. Keller, Cambridge and Mrs. H. B. Hune wife of Dr. Hune, Caldwell. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the McMillen Funeral Home, Cambridge, by Rev. L. S. Evans, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church. DeVolld, Mrs. Nora :  Mrs. Nora DeVolld, 72, wife of Levi DeVolld, well known and highly esteemed resident of Caldwell, died at the family home, 211 East Main Street, Saturday at 2 a.m., following an extended illness. Mrs. DeVolld was a daughter of the late Mondgomery and Attie Ballard Head, and was born at Earlysville, VA. She had been a resident of Caldwell for the past thirty-two years. She was married twice, her first husband being Dade Lewis, who died several years ago. Later she was married to Levi DeVolld, who survives. Three daughters by the first marriage also survive. They are Mrs. Norene Saylor of Newcomerstown; Mrs. Leorna Alwine, of New Lexington and Mrs. Elva Nichols of Hoskinsville. There are seventeen grandchildren three step-daughters, Mrs. Iva Oliver of Zanesville, Mrs. Vada Brown and Mrs. Martha Moore of Caldwell and two step-sons, Wilbur DeVolld of Cleveland and Ode DeVolld, Sr. of Caldwe3ll. There are three brothers, Charles Head of Earlysville, VA., and Archie Head of Charlottesville, VA., and Purcey Head of Caldwell. The body was removed the McVay-Schilling Funeral Home and returned Saturday evening to the home on Main Street. Last rites will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m., from the Free Methodist Church, conducted by her pastor, Rev. Millard S. Casto. Burial will be in Olive Cemetery. Times Recorder, 05 Jun 1944

Devore, Alice : Services for Alice Devore, 89, of Gnadenhutten, who died late Friday night, December 19, 1986 at Twin City Hospital in Dennison, were to be 1 p.m. today at the Ourant Funeral Home in Newcomerstown with the Rev. O. E. Ghere officiating. Burial was to be in Union Cemetery on Port Washington. Mrs. Devore was born November 12, 1897, in Salem Twp. Tuscarawas County, daughter of the late Henry and Laura Hart Ellwood. She was a housewife and homemaker all her life. She leaves one son, Robert M. Devore of Gnadenhutten and two grandchildren. Five brothers, two sisters, one son and one grand child preceded her in death. 19 Dec 1986

Devore, Grace A. : Grace A. Devore, 84, of Granville, formerly of Zanesville, died Friday, July 22, 1988 in Licking Memorial Hospital, Newark. Mrs. Devore retired in 1968 as an elementary school teacher in Zanesville City Schools, and was a member of the National Retired Teachers Association and Ohio Retired Teacher Association. She was also a member of Muskingum Lodge 485 Order of Eastern Star, Zanesville. Mrs. Devore was a member of Sentenary United Methodist Church, Granville, where she was active in the United Methodist Women organization. She was born, October 12, 1903 in Summerfield, daughter of the late Edgar R. and Lillian Craig Harris. Her first husband, Lawrence Yoho, died in 1962 and her second husband, John H. Devore, died in 1978. She is survived by two step-daughters, Jacqueline Quinn and Karen Davis, both of Junction City, Kansas, two grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Friends called Sunday at McPeek Funeral Home in Granville, where Eastern Star services were held Sunday. Funeral services were held Monday at Sentenary United Methodist Church in Granville with the Rev. Duane E. Johnson officiating. Graveside services were held in Memorial Park Zanesville.

Devore, Isaac W: Funeral services for Isaac Devore, 66, retired coal miner of Tuscarawas who died Sunday at 4 p.m. at his residence, will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Kaserman Funeral Home at New Philadelphia with Elder John Carlisle officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 tonight. Mr. Devore was born at Ragersville and was a member of the United Mine Workers. Death was caused by heart trouble following a long illness. Surviving are 12 Children, Lloyd of RD 1, Uhrichsville, William of RD 2, James, Kenneth and Robert, all of New Philadelphia and George Devore who is with the Army Air Force at Enid, Ok., Mrs. Francis Johnson, Mrs. Robert Miller, Mrs. Helen Skinner and Mrs. William Murphy of RD 3, all of New Philadelphia, Mrs. Ross Rosenberry of RD 1, Dover, and Mrs. James Smedley of Wooster; a sister; Mrs. Florence Stauffer, on Winfield Rd; 25 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Two sons; four sisters and a brother are deceased.

Devore, Marjorie L. : Marjorie L. Devore, 64, of W. Athens Rd. Roseville, died at 10:55 a.m. Thursday December 6, 1990 in Good Samaritan Medical Center emergency room, Zanesville. She was born January 24, 1926, in Corning, daughter of Jane Williams McKnight of Byesville and the late Edward McKnight. She retired with 42 years of services from Nelson-McCoy Pottery, Roseville. She was a Protestant by faith and a member of Legion Auxiliary Post 71, Roseville. Mrs. Devore was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Devore on July 16, 1987, and one brother, Dick McKnight. In addition to her mother, she leaves one daughter, Teresa Anderson of Roseville; one stepson, Lewis Devore of San Antonio, TX.; one stepdaughter, Donna Rae Pettit of Columbus; one sister, Lavona Phillips of Byesville; six grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren. Devore, Max B. : Max B. Devore, 26, of State Route 36, Gnadenhutten, died later Friday evening, September 6, 1991 as the result of a hunting accident near his home. A Tuscarawas County coroner's ruling was pending. He was born February 19, 1965 in Coshocton, son of Robert M. and Hazel M. Hammond Devore of State Route 36, Gnadenhutten. He was a 1983 graduate of Indian Valley South High School, a welder for Joy-Greenfan Co., New Philadelphia, and a member of New Philadelphia Moose Lodge. He was preceded in death by one sister, Beverly Ann Devore. In addition to his parents he leaves one sister, Marie Devore of the home. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Ourant Funeral Home, where services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Robert M. Gadfield officiating. Devore, Nellie S. : Nellie S. Devore, 73, of Claymont Dr, Uhrichsville, died February 17, 1994, at Morning View Care Center, New Philadelphia. She was born January 24, 1921 near Stillwater in Tuscarawas County, daughter of the late Purl John Garner and Nora Elizabeth Harper Garner. She was a charter member of T. C. VFW Auxiliary 9338 in Uhrichsville, and a member of Full Gospel Pentecostal Church at Gnadenhutten. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence F. Devore in 1971; two brothers, Russell R. and Clyde Garner. Surviving are a stepdaughter Mrs. Robert (Clarice F.) Murry of Uhrichsville; a stepson, Clarence Wayne Devore of Rt. 1 Dennison; three sisters, Helen Lanning of Uhrichsville, Pauline Devore of Deersville, and Mrs. Alton (Ila Fern) Ferguson of Canton; three step grandchildren and four step great-grandchildren. Services were held February 20 in the R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home, Dennison, with the Rev. Robert M. Cadfield officiating. Burial was in Patterson Union Cemetery, Deersville.

Devore, Richard D. : Richard D. Devore, 77, of Bellaire, died Wednesday March 5, 2003 at the Belmont Community Hospital. He was born August 15, 1925 in Moundsville WV., a son of the late Joseph Randall and Bessie Mabel Keyser Devore. Richard was a retired steelworker from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Mingo Junction and a member of St. John Catholic Church, Bellaire. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Keith A. Devore on October 19, 1987. Surviving are his wife, Teresa Schramm Devore , two sons, Thomas Devore and his wife Teresa of Bridgeport and Jeffrey Devore of the home; a daughter, Phyllis Devore also of the home, one sister, Jeanne Rose of Warren, OH and three grandchildren, Kristi, Mathew and T. J. Devore. Devore, V. Frank : V. Frank Devore, 66, of RD 1, died suddenly at his residence in Nottingham Twp. Monday after a history of coronary illness. Born at Moorefield, he was a son of the late Joseph F. and Estella M. Brooks Devore. He retired from Stocker Sand and Gravel Co. at Gnadenhutten in 1981 and also was a mechanic for Gibbs Chevrolet- Buick at Uhrichsville. He was a World War II Marine Veteran, serving in the South Pacific and was a member of Teamsters Union and Uhrichsville Assembly of God Church. On December 30, 1940, he married the former Pauline L. Garner, who survives along with four sons and four daughters, Rick A., Chuck R., Mrs. Jack (Judy) Stull and Mrs. Joyce Smith, all of here, Frank Jr. of Uhrichsville, Roger B. of RD 1, Freeport, Mrs. Don (Kim) Cover of Scott Air Force Base, IL., and Mrs. David (Dana) Meredith of Fort Hood, TX., a sister, Mrs. John L. (Erma) Ferguson of Deersville; 19 Grandchildren; five step grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren. Two brothers and two sisters are deceased. Services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home at Dennison with Rev. Larry Fletcher officiating. Burial will be in Patterson Union Cemetery at Deersville. Devore, W. Harry : W. Harry Devore, 68, Creston Rd., retired meat cutter of 29 years and former custodian at Ninth St. United Methodist Church, died at 11:20 a.m. Wednesday September 4, 1974 at Guernsey Memorial Hospital. Born in Buffalo, September 20, 1905, he was the son of the late Harvey and Odessa Vandyke Devore. Mr. Devore retired in 1970 from the A & P Store here where he was employed as a meat cutter. He was a 55 year member of the Ninth St. United Methodist Church, a member of the Meat Cutters Union 346, served as past master of Guernsey Lodge 632 F & AM, past high priest of Cambridge Chapter 53 R & AM, past master of Guernsey Council 74 R & SM, and was active in Knights Templar, Cambridge Commandry 47. Mr. Devore leaves his wife, the former Margaret Robertson, whom he married July 15, 1929; tow sons, James Devore, Ada, associate professor of Art at Ohio Northern University, Ada, and Brian Devore, Cambridge, teacher in the East Muskingum School District; three grandchildren, Christian, Melissa and Melanie; one brother, Carl Devore, Zanesville; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Ninth St. United Methodist with the Rev. Donald A. Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Northwood Cemetery. Diddle, Athel E. : Athel E. Diddle, 79, of Portsmouth, died early today at Mercy Hospital. A native of Rock Camp, VA., he was a retired Norfolk & Western Railway machinist. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lourea Cutler Diddle; a son, Robert of Portsmouth; a daughter, Jean Brock of Chillicothe; four brothers, Ira of Punta Gorda, FL., Basil of Lake Worth, FL., Wilbert of Intercession City, FL., and David of Portsmouth, VA., a sister, Bessie Blake of Venice, FL.; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Graveside service is to be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mound Cemetery at Piketon. Diener, Howard E.: Howard E. Diene, 54 of Hemlock, died in Midland Hospital Center Tuesday, following a brief illness. Born September 22, 1927, in Hemlock, he had been a lifelong resident of that area. He married Miss Maxine Hock on November 10, 1951. Mr. Diener owned and operated a farm in Richland Township and also had been employed by the Dow Chemical Co. for the past 25 years. He was a member of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Iva. He leaves his wife; daughters, Irene Kruth and Carol Diener, both of Hemlock, and Diane Kuehn of Saginaw; sons, Danny Diener of Midland and Gene Diener of Hemlock; his Mother, Martha Diener of Hemlock; and sister, Mrs Agnes Richard of Saginaw. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Iva; the Rev. Elmer Schiefer officiating. Burial will be in Richand Lutheran Cemetery. Dillow, Elmer F. : Elmer F. Dillow, 79, of Offnere St., died Tuesday at Greenbriar Convalescent Center in Wheelersburg after a long illness. A native of Lewis County KY., a World War I veteran and a retired employee of Vulcan Last Corp., he was a member of Carey's Run Church of Christ and the Veteran of Foreign Wars. Preceded in death by his wife, Maple in April, he is survived by six brothers, Henry and Harold, both of Springfield, Paul of Mt. Vernon, Walter of Worthington, Howard of West Portsmouth and John of South Portsmouth, KY., and four sisters, Myrtle Tyler of Missouri, Letha Osborne of Wheelersburg, Clara Copley of Wakefield and Pansy Tygart of Brooksville, FL. Dillow, Mrs. Maple : Mrs. Maple Miller Dillow, 76, of Offnere St. was pronounced dead on arrival at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Mercy Hospital following an apparent heart attack. A native of Greenup County KY., she was a member of Carey's Run Church of Christ. Surviving are her husband Elmer F. Dillow, and several nieces and nephews. Services are planned at 1 p.m. Friday at Morton Funeral Home in New Boston, with Rev. Frank Dodds officiating and interment in Memorial Burial Park. Dimitro, James A.: James A. Dimitro, 75, Bethesda, died July 8, 1989 at Barnesville Hospital. He was born August 2, 1913 in Piney Fork, a son of the late Andrew and Marketa Nicolas Dimitro. He was a retired employee of Consolidated Coal Co. and owner-operator of Jim's Shoe Repair of Bethesda. He was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church , Hazen Lodge 251, Bethesda, Scottish Rite Valley of Cambridge, Osiris Shrine, Wheeling, WV. He also served on the Bethesda Village Council and was a street commissioner. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Edna Faye Dixon Dimitro; and one daughter, Diana Faye Dimitro. Surviving are his wife, Clara Gladden Dimitro; one daughter, Marlene Funkhouser of Rt. 1 Belmont; one son, Mark Allen Dimitro of North Canton; one step-daughter, Mrs. Jane Powell of Bethesda; two step-sons, William C. Gladden of Wheeling, WV., Robert W. Gladden, Palatine, IL.; four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; one brother, Stamolis of Greece. Dixon, Opal Vivian : Opal Vivian Dixon, 77, of Buckeye Towers, died Thursday night at Scioto Memorial Hospital. An Adams County native and a member of the First Christian Church, she was an employee of the former Long Furniture Co. for 48 years and a retired employee of Custom Carpet Co. Surviving are two nieces, Kathleen Beda of Portsmouth and Helen Benjamin of CA, and a nephew, Ralph Swearingen, also of CA. Services are planned at 1 p.m. Monday at Daehler Funeral Home with Rev. Dobbins, Samuel T. : Funeral services for Samuel T. Dobbins, 67, of Woodlawn Ave., who died at his home Saturday afternoon will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the home of a son, Harlan Dobbins, Woodlawn Ave. Rev. J. H. Dolfi, Gino T.: Gino T. Dolfi, 78, 301 Central Ave. Tiltonsville, died this morning in East Ohio Regional Hospital Martins Ferry. He was born June 6, 1911 at Connorville, son of the late Primo and Maria Levi Dolfi. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiltonsville and a retired employee of Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corp. Yorkville plant and a member of the Indian Club, Tiltonsville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene R. Forgacs Dolfi; a sister, Ida Dolif Lollini. Surviving are two brothers, Emilio P. Dolfi of Tiltonsville and Alfred Dolfi of Yorkville; nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church Tiltonsville, with the Rev. The son of the late William and Rebecca Doughty of Adamsville he was a well known retired farmer. Surviving are his widow, Pearl of the home a son Frank H. Doughty of near Coshocton; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Harris of Zanesville and Mrs. Hazel Carter, of Columbus, two brothers, Benson of Chandlersville and Homer, of Colorado, one sister, Mrs. R. F. Dowd, Lillian: Lillian Nichols Dowd died Feb 13, 1993 at her home in Sandy. She was born Oct 10, 1910 in Union Township, north of Morristown, to Clayton and Ora Ahalt Nichols. She received her B. S. degree in education from Ohio University. She taught in Blaine and Sebring, Ohio; in Pahoa Hawaii and in Kekaha, Kauai; in Grant School at Salt Lake City and as a remedial reading teacher in various elementary and junior high schools in Salt Lake City. She married Lawrence T. Dowd in Olaa, Hawaii in 1948. She was a member of Cottonwood Presbyterian Church, American Association of Retired Persons and Zeta Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International. She was treasurer of the state organization for two years. She was preceded in death by her nephews, Clifford and Clayton Doughty, and her sister, Launa Doughty, all formerly of Belmont. Surviving are Frederick and Linda Dowd of Green River, Wyoming. A memorial sercice is being held at Cottonwood Presbyterian Church today, Feb 17 at 10 a.m. Interment will be inMorristown Union Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary. Dozer, Charles : Funeral services for Charles Dozer, 75, of Columbus, former resident of Muskingum County, who died in Mr. Carmel Hospital in that city Wednesday morning, will be conducted from the Schoedinger Chapel Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Mr. Dozer went to Columbus from this county in 1885 and was formerly a barber in the IOOF hall barbershop there. He was in the cooperage business there from 1900 to 1926 when re retired. He was a member of the W. Broad Church and past president of the West Side Board of Trade in Columbus. In 1913 he was on the committee which went to Washington seeking flood relief. Mr. Dozer was active in Masonic groups and held membership in the Lodge of Masons, Scioto consistory, Aladdin Temple and was Past Chancellor of Franklin Post No. 5, Knights of Pythias. He is survived by one son, Charles W. Dozer, and two grandchildren. Interment will be made in Glen Rest Cemetery. Times Recorder, 13 May 1943 pg. 5

Drake, F. Raymond: F. Raymond Drake, 76, formerly of Barnesville, died Wednesday at Phoenix, AZ. He was born August 4, 1912 at Woodsfield, a son of the late William Garfield and Jenny Bird Drake. He was a Methodist. Surviving are his wife, Ethel Drake; two sons, Ray of Sierra Vista, AZ., and Larry of Oxford, Ala.; three daughters, Doris Merritt, Bonnie Drake and Alice Ballabin, all of Phoenix; five brothers, Bill of Bracksville, WV., George and Charles, both of Barnesville, Thurman and Carl, both of Bardington, FL., six sisters, Myrtle Hudson of Barnesville, Lillian Huntsman of Columbus, Florence Little of West Lafayette, Edna Parker of Leesburg, FL., Betty Eikleberry of Streetsboro and Kathryn Eikleberry of Ravenna; 16 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; a great-great-great-grandchild. Friends will be received at the Kelly-Kemp Funeral Home, Bethesda, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday with Brother James Gallagher officiating. Draper, William H. : Funeral services for William H. Draper, 72, a lifelong resident of the Lewisville community wee conducted at 2 :00 Sunday afternoon in the Bracken Ridge Methodist Church, with his pastor Rev. G. L. Roberts, officiating. Interment was made in the church cemetery. The deceased had been in failing health for some time and his death at 2:45 Friday afternoon at his home was attributed to a cerebral hemorrhage sustained the preceding Sunday. Surviving are his widow, Verda Lieuellen Draper, of the home, one son Arnold, of Lewisville, a brothers, Millard Draper of Stafford, and four grandchildren. H.P. Drumm, Andrew Jackson : Last rites for Andrew Jackson Drumm, 74, retired Frazeysburg farmer, who died Friday at his home following a stroke of apoplexy, will be conducted Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the Frazeysburg Methodist Church. Duchoslav, Mrs. Anna : Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Duchoslav, 84, Midway, who died Friday will be conducted Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Pete Skirtich, that place, John Pasternak of Willow Grove, officiating. Burial will be made at Union Cemetery by the Beck Funeral Service. Deceased was a native of Czechoslovakia but had lived at Midway for the past 32 years. Surviving are the following children: Louis and Joseph, Cleveland; Andy, Bellville, IL., Mrs. Albina Collins, Cleveland and Mrs. Skirtich. She also leaves 27 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Duduit, Eric Andrew : Eric Andrew Duduit, 90, of Hastings Hill, Portsmouth, died Saturday at Best Care Nursing Home. A Siloam, KY., native, he spent 12 years as Portsmouth's first building inspector, was a self-employed surveyor, worked as Division 9 engineer for the State Highway Department and was engineer for the construction of the Ironton-Russell Bridge in 1920. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Bertha Aeh Duduit, a daughter Mrs. Donald (Irene) Ohlinger of Cleveland, a brother, William Edward Duduit of Wheelersburg, a granddaughter and two great-grandchildren. Services are planned at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Harrison Funeral Home, with Rev. William Turner officiating and interment at Memorial Burial Park. Friends may call from 7 to 9 tonight, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and an hour before services Wednesday. The family's favorite charity is the Sciotoville Memorial Tree Fund.

Dunn, Walter J.: Walter J. Dunn, 77, of Mingo Junction, died Saturday in Royal Pavilion Extended Care Center, Steubenville. He was a retired employee of Weirton Steel Division and was a member of the Baptist Temple, Wintersville. Surviving are his wife, Lochia B. Dunn; two sons, Walter F. of Wintersville and Robert Lee of Casper, WY.; a brother, Guy of Shelby; three grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Dunlope-Williams Funeral Home, Wintersville 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Durmon, Thomas L. : Pleasant Hill, OH.- Thomas L. Durmon, 70, passed away at his home here, Sunday morning. Mr. Durmon suffered a paralytic stroke, over six months ago and has been bedfast ever since. He leaves his wife, Ida and one son, Albert at home, another son, Walter, preceded him in death two years ago, also six grandchildren. The body is at the Toothman Funeral Home at Jacobsburg where services will be conducted on Tuesday afternoon, at 2 o'clock with burial in Armstrong Mills Cemetery. Times Recorder, 29 Feb 1944

Dyrdeck, Stanley Joseph : Stanley Joseph Dyrdeck, one year old son of Walter and Geneva Senekevich Dyrdeck of Glencoe, passed away Sunday evening in the O. V. G. Hospital, where he had been taken Sunday afternoon following one week's illness. Surviving is one brother, Walter Lewis Dyrdeck, the parents and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Senekevich, St. Clairsville, and Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Dyrdeck of St. Clairsville. The body was taken to the Beck mortuary and today will be returned to the family home near Glencoe where funeral services will be held with Rev. Raymond Harris of Scared Heart Church, Neffs, in charge. Interment will be made in the Union Cemetery. Times Recorder, 08 May 1945
